Lunch Date

Mike and I had lunch kanina. I left the office quarter before 12, the first attempt to leave, si Sr.T, yung VP namin nasa labas lng ng door so mejo nahiya akong lumabas, tapos nung pumasok na sya , si Ms.M (yung AVP) naman namin ang nasa tapat ng door, kaso since quarted to 12 na, hindi na nakakahiya lumabas hehe... She greeted me and tesingly asked "san ka punta?", I just smiled and said "Lunch out po."

Wala pakaming 5 minutes nakaupo sa Chocolate Kiss, may 2 pumasok, sheesh kilala ko yung skirt na yun ah... yeah, pumasok sina Ms.M at Sr.T ... hay ang laki naman ng UP di ba? hehe nung napansin nila kami, lumapit si Ms.M and syempre I introduced Mike. Nauna sila natapos kumain and before they left dumaan sila ulit sila sa table namin, and so I introduced Mike to Sr.T naman, I think I stood up for that. hay, hindi pa naman ako maalam sa introduction courtesy eclavooo pero ang naaalala ko dapat sa higher in rank ipinapakilala, so I said "Ms.M si Michael po".. in my mind I'm wondering if that's correct... (kaya sa baba i added a note about that para hopefully sa mga katulad kong nalilito)

Anyway, so we stuffed our tummies with pesto, pan con basilico(bread w/ pesto and cheese topping), and Chix in a Basket. yummmmy! I specially love their Iced tea, kasi natutuwa ako sa caramel na nilalagay sa iced tea coz I'm in control of the sweetness.

Around this day of August of 2001 was my first time in Chocolate Kiss with Mike. Some guy asked me for lunch, I asked Karen to go with me and Karen asked Mike to go with us.. Oh diba? 5 years ago na pala yun.. how time flies (sheesh! tumatanda na koO!!!!!) ^_^

How to Introduce People from eHow
Steps:
1. Introduce individuals to each other using both first and last names.

2. If you're introducing someone who has a title'a doctor, for example'include the title as well as the first and last names in the introduction.

3. Introduce the younger or less prominent person to the older or more prominent person, regardless of the sex of the individuals. (However, if a considerable age difference lies between the two, it is far more courteous to make introductions in deference to age, regardless of social rank.) For example: 'Arthur Prefect, I'd like you to meet Dr. Gertrude Smith.'

4. If the person you are introducing has a specific relationship to you, make the relationship clear by adding a phrase such as 'my boss,' 'my wife' or 'my uncle.' In the case of unmarried couples who are living together, 'companion' and 'partner' are good choices.

5. Use your spouse's first and last name if he or she has a different last name than you. Include the phrase 'my wife' or 'my husband.'

6. Introduce an individual to the group first, then the group to the individual. For example: 'Dr. Brown, I'd like you to meet my friends Kym Hsu, Shawn Kampbell and Michael Via. Everyone, this is Dr. Kurt Brown.'

Tips:
If you've forgotten a name, you'll seem impolite if you try to ignore the need for the introduction. It's less awkward (and better manners) to apologize and acknowledge that the name has escaped you.

If your host neglects to introduce you to other guests, feel free to introduce yourself, but make your relationship to the host clear in your introduction.

heart cake

here's another cuteee cutee little cake from Bread Talk

mike gave it to me last night and it served as my breakfast today. it was so cute! won't u agree?

it's strawberry mousse, but i don't know if the bakeshop has a special name for it. The Top layer is gelatin(color: translucent red), i'm not sure what the white heart shaped topping thing is made of(it's very thin for me to distinguish), but it was sweet, then the fluffy layer(color: white), then the jam layer (color : translucent red) where the straberry flavor comes, then the fluffy bread. and oh, just below the gelatin is a slice of strawberry, and it's just for the eyes, it's too thin kasi, and really just one slice! when i opened it, ang bango bango rin ng straberry!

the cake so pretty! it's so small nga lang that it fits in my cylindrical Tupperware, 3inches diameter, 2inches height. and i wish there were more real strawberry nalang to enhace the strawberry flavor, instead of the jam, it was too sweet kasi, makakaumay ito kung madami. hehe or maybe that's the trick, para hindi mabitin ang kakaiin sa maliit na cake na ito.

Lies

MY GIRL
YOO-RIN: Count the person in your heart to 5 and if that person appears, you will fall for her.
GONG-CHAN: (to himself) One. Two. Three. Four. Five. (seeing Yoo-rin) Seol Gong Chan, you must be crazy.

i just finished the sub-titled korean series last night. sooobrang nakaka-inlove yung character na Seol Gong Chan [Lee Dong Wook].. he's soo cute kapag nagsusungit sya pero habang nagsusungit sya, inaasikaso nya si Joo Yoo Rin! i really find it cute kapag nagsusungit yung guy, kaya crush na crush ko rin dati yung Rhett Buttler sa Gone With The Wind.
pero take note, sa movie/series lang cute ang masungit na guys... hehehe kapag masungit sya in person... mas masungit ako!!!!

naisip ko lang, kung may taong kasing galing nung Yoo Joo Rin mag-lie.. hanep! nakakatwa rin yung part na para ma-sure na hindi magsisinungaling yung girl, kinailangan pa syang dalhin ni guy sa church kasama ang panakkot na "you'll be punished 1000 times for lying in a place like this".. hahaha

this series really made me laugh ng sorba kahit na mag-isa lang ako nanonood... hay.. sayang tapos na...

her latitude and his PSP

after 3months of scouting for a good second-hand laptop, i finally got myself one last weekend. ^_^

the second-hand dell latitude d600, was used for 26months by the previous owner, pero ok lang kasi i got it on a very good price naman and the condition is very ok.. the unit is Pentium M 1.4GHz, 256RAM and 40GB HDD. with the package is the bag, the installation CDs(windows XP and drivers) and the removables drives (floppy and DVD Combo drive)..

hindi ko pa talaga na-orasan yung battery nya, pero it lasts more than one hour nmn. based on the sticker, it's still under warranty of Accent Micro until may of next year, pero i'm hoping that it would work well nmn. i was supposed to reformat it (though bagong format lang sya nung makuha ko) last sunday, kaso wala yung ibang stuffs na kailangan ko, so i'm scheduling it this coming weekend.

syempre, mike has to come over to check my newly-bought SECOND-HAND laptop... at syempre to steal my thunder by showing-off his NEW psp.... hahaha

Changed

it still amazes me how a single person could sooooo change your life. how that single person could barge into your life without any warning and change you. how the chance of knowing him and having him into your life could add color to your day, how you'll be able to see rainbows when it rains, how he makes you appreciate the fireflies while passing through dark roads, and how having your hand in his makes you feel that you'll be able to conquer anything.

the irony is that to get into your life, he would have to break the walls you've build strong during your existence without him around. how he has made his presence your wall, your fortress and your warmth against this cold world, but how his absence keeps you yearning for him, feeling the cold, feeling incomplete and feeling vulnerable. how he opened your heart and took for himself a special place that his absence leaves you bleeding and wanting. how he made you smile like you never did before yet made you cry your heart out. how the strong person that you are succumb to his will, how you follow his lead and how you feel lost without him. how the experience of knowing him made your lips kiss and curse, made you laugh and weep, felt courage and fear, felt security and vulnerability, and your heart love and hurt.

and that by knowing him, you know that you will never be the same again.

9days passed and officially missing him
