treasure box
Has there ever been a time when you go into an old tattered box, determined to throw things away, and then you look, really look, and you realize that there's nothing there that you could dispose of? Throwing it away would be like discarding a piece of yourself...or at least a piece of yourself that you hope is still inside you, lingering in one form or another. ~ read more of ivykate
yeah, i've got lots of boxes at home, filled with garbages(for others) but those boxes are treasure chests keeping the valuables i've collected in life.
can't thow them coz somehow it gives me pride that i have lived and somehow accomplished things. ^_^
i keep letters from friends, it makes me feel human(having touched other's lives) i keep letters from suitors, it makes me feel beautiful(or so i wish), i keep school stuffs, i reminds me i have brains(haha). and that there is beauty in my past that's enough encouragement that there is hope of a beautiful life ahead.
And these stuffs remins me that i should not stop imroving myself knowing i have God who continually is changing me.

at home ~ hmmm at home daw ako sa kanila?! well i better make myself comfortable since the person who's supposedly with me is busy with *MU*
payat ~ pumayat daw ako.. hmmm hindi ko kasi mapansin na pumayat ako eh.. parang ganun pa rin kasi.. hindi naman lumuluwang ang mga damit ko.. so hindi ako pumayat.. pde kaya yung kung sakali sa mukha ko ma-store ang fats para di ako mukhang payat?!
karen ~ oh my! masyado kang maraming ini-spill kagabi. wag mo naman ginagawang uncomfortable yung mga kasama mo =p
1Cor17:1 - ang 1Corinthians ay may 16 chapters... kaya ang Constantine ay isang fiction. hehe nakakatawa na na-buy nya yung salvation nya nung nag-usap sila ni s*a*t*a*n.

From the Clone to The Sith
Well, Kate and I agreed that Starwars II : Attack of the Clones is boring compared to its predecessors. I'm wondring how Episode III would do.
Episode III : Revenge of the Sith shall premiere on the 19th of May. ^_^

Accounts from The Phantom
Cineplex10 is a nice place to watch!!
I was able to watch the 6:15pm showing at Cineplex5 yesterday. Ganda yung place... reserved seating so yung position ko inside the cinema nasa gitna. Ok din dahil konti lang ang tao. Malamang kasi nung Vday maraming nag-date kaya wala munang gumagala kahapon. ^_^
Ganda yung movie.. hehe entirely musical.. hehe kinakanta lahat ng sinasabi nila... wala ata silang dialogue na wala sa sountrack...
Now I wonder about the musical play.. wish I'd be able to see it.. kaso mukhang hanggang wish na lang ako, unless ofcourse hehe maka-travel ako to watch it on-stage ^_^
gusto ko ng DVD nito para lagi ko syang mapapanood... hayyyy....

The Not So Good Event
The news of the Valentine's Day bombing is definitely not my ideal Valentine's Day. The color red of Vday signifies the strong feeling of love and affection, not the redness of anger nor blood.
Knowing that so many innocent civilians were hurt, those who were responsible should be hunt down. I believe, after these series of bombings these terrorist stage during special days, the government should show vigilance knowing that the citizens of this country relies on whatever security the government could offer.
Para sa mga terrorista, kung yung mga bombs na iyon ay regalo nila kay PGMA, sana nilagay nila sa Malacañang di ba?! 'Yon ay kung magaling talaga sila at kaya talaga nilang mang-terroroze, di ba?!
*** whew! buti na lang talaga at hindi ako nag-gala ngaun ***

my HVD!
hmmm.... syempre kagaya ng nakagawian, may date o wala dapat pretty ako kapag valentine's day (para kahit walang date hindi naman halata!)
just like any other monday... late ako sa pagpasok sa office kanina.. hay, ang aga-aga traffic na! (well, actually mejo tinanghali na rin talaga ako ng alis sa bahay... sarap matulog eh!)
around 8am nang may nag-text sa kin.. whew! yun na yata ang pinakamakulit na taong nakilala ko. And so assuming to tell me na dapat replyan ko ang mga text nya para magkaroon daw kami ng communication sayang daw dahil bagay-na-bagay pa naman daw kami... grabe ang aga-aga.. it's monday and it's valentine's day.. oh my! gustong sirain ang araw ko!!
buti nalang around 8:30 my knight called telling me he's in front of the office. Syempre surprised na naman ang beauty ko. i wasn't expecting another apparition. anyway he handed me a gift bag from The Body Shop. shy nga ako kasi ako walang gift.. hehehe anyway wala naman kasi ako talagang nireregaluhan kapag valentines ^_^ hmmm.. this time it's not an apparition, kasi medyo maaga pa kaya nakapag-usap naman kami ng konti.

something for valentines
I've always wanted to write something about valentines...
Sabi nila Christmas season daw ang season ng highest rate ng suicide. Kasi nga naman if you're alone in this world, no one to make your Christmas merry with, eh di parang ikaw na ang pinaka-kawawang tao sa mundo! Parang napakalaking torture nun na while everyone is busy with the preaparation of the gifts, foods ans activities, ikaw nag-iisa. And I believe Valentines has the same effect...
Though last year's Valentines day was wonderful, kwento ko kung gaano ako ka-bad-trip nung February 14 of 2003.
Feb 13 2003 PM :: I went with my friends to the UP Fair, four of us. hehe that was my first appearance in the UP Fair, and hopefully not the last. Sa mga nakakatanda dun sa pink shawl ko, I bought it that night. Hinde masyadong maganda ang end ng fair ko dahil nagkaasaran yung dalawang kasama ko.

AM :: Syempre pretty ako. hmm... sa pagkakatanda ko I was wearing a sleeveless blouse tapos knee length skirt... nagrecite pa nga ako nun sa PI100 class ko and would you believe, napansin ako nung bading kong teacher ha... sabi nya maganda daw sa mga babae ang nag-si-skirt! hahaha
LUNCH TIME:: Nakita ko si Jon dun sa parking space ng CS tapos sabi ba naman, "Hayy.. Kaw lang ang pretty na nakita ko na walang dalang flower".... Tama ba yun??? Na-flatter nga ako na pretty ako, sabay banat naman na wala akong flower! Tapos wala kaming class nun, nag-brown-out pa kaya di na natuloy ang class after lunch.
around 2PM :: sinamahan ko si Jon sa flowershop para kunin yung inorder nyang blue rose.... tama ba naman na habang pababa ng stairs sa EEE na may nagtitinda ng rose, ang sabi sakin, "gusto mo bili kita ng rose?" grrr.... pero ok pa rin ako... composed....
around 4PM :: hayyy... my knight appeared at last! he asked me kung ano ang plano na ko, hehe dahil Friday nun, sabi ko uuwi (Cavite). Tapos nung naglalakad na kme from EEE papuntang AS he asked me if I want to watch a movie. Syempre sabi ko, okey! Kaso nung nasa MRT na kami sa Quezon Ave, may unfortunate event kaya ayun umuwi na nga lang ako ng Cavite at sya, umuwi ng bahay nila. He gave me chocolates naman....
mega-bad-trip ako lalo nung umuwi ako ng bahay seeing nobody's home. grrrrr.... pagbukas ko ng TV syempre telenovela ang kasama ko sa bahay. Tapos may nakita akong velentines card para sa akin from someone na hindi ko naman trip. Tapos pagdating ng sis ko she handed me a chocolate bar galing daw dun sa nagbigay ng card... kainis... yung taong gusto mong kasama sa okasyon na yon at gumawa sayo ng mga sweet nothings for the sake of the occassion wala sa tabi mo.

LOVE POTION #9
To be performed on the 9th day of the 9th month.
(But you can try it anytime - who knows?)
· 9 oz. sweet red wine
· 9 basil leaves
· 9 red rose petals
· 9 cloves
· 9 apple seeds
· 9 drops vanilla extract
· 9 drops strawberry juice
· 9 drops apple juice
· 1 ginseng root, cut into 9 equal pieces
By the light of 9 pink votive candles, put these nine ingrediants into a cauldron on the ninth hour of the ninth day of the ninth month of the year.
Stir the potion nine times with a wooden spoon, each time reciting the following:
LET THE ONE WHO DRINKS THIS WINE
SHOWER ME WITH LOVE DIVINE.
SWEET LOVE POTION NUMBER NINE
MAKE HIS/HER LOVE FOREVER MINE.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for nine minutes.
Remove the cauldron from the heat and allow the potion to cool off.
Blow nine times upon the potion, bless it in the names of nine love-goddesses, (see below) and then strain it through a cheesecloth into a clean container.
Cover and refrigerate it untill you are ready to serve it to the man or woman from whom you desire love and affection. (Do not allow anyone other than your beloved to look at,touch, or drink the love potion.)
The nine goddesses: Inanna, Ishtar, Astarte, Hathor, Nephthys, Aphrodite, Venus, Freya, Arianrhod.

The Notebook...it is the sappiest movie ever! It's very Bridges of Madison Countyesque except instead of old Clint Eastwood, you have young and totally dashing Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams (both Canadian by the way!)

next attraction
yehey! next attraction na ang The Phantom of The Opera. Alam nyo bang more than 2 months ko nang iniintay ang pelikula na yan. Kate is responsible kung bakit very excited ako. hehehe well, aside from me enjoying musicals e.. lagi kasi naming napag-kwe-kwentuhan when we talk sa ym.
you won't believe kung ilang beses nya na napanood ang pelikula na ito kaya naman kating-kati na akong makita ito. hmmm i got the copy of the sound track a month ago and magaganda ang songs kaya i really want to see it moving na ^_^
haha I'll be watching the Phantom come what may.... may sumama man sa akin sa movie house o wala whahahaha ^_^ hahaha February pa naman... tatapat sa Valentines.....
